For the last few days, the sun was mercilessly glowering on us and temperatures were close to 35-40 range.Yesterday, finally it rained. A light drizzle in the daytime, which took the form of heavy downpour at night.Everyone said a silent thanks to the powers who decide such things, including myself.
Today when i started out for work, not-so-mild winds were blowing from multiple directions and heavy clouds were looming in the sky.But this time i hoped it wont rain.I wished the winds will carry the dark cloud away from my route. But is it necessary that all my prayers will be heard and carried out? Haven't i learned anything in so many years of my existence?
It rained 10 minutes after i left home, not too heavy to get me totally drenched but heavy enough for my hair to be plastered to my scalp and my sandals and feet to become muddy.
the rain i love so much, the rain i eagerly wait for, became unwanted and a nuisance in an instance.
Thats when i realised how selfish we humans are.How we want everything, including the elements over which we have no control,to suit our requirements.(or is it just me?).It also occured to me how a same incident,or act,or whatever can evoke different emotions depending on the time, mood, situation.Of course we have little or no control over natural forces or others, but wecan think about this before we speak, act or do something.

Can rains ever be a nuisance?
Guess I am being selfish here.
